The company

CREDIN HELLAS SA was founded in 1968 by the BERTZELETOS conglomerate, in alliance with the Danish company Palsgaard Industri A/S.

Both companies share a significant wealth of experience in the business of confectionary and baking, dating back to the beginning of the century.

CREDIN HELLAS is a company based on tradition, while always looks to the future by developing new products, improving customer service and trying always to innovate at all stages from production through to after sales services.

The philosophy on which the products are planned is:

 The Company

CREDIN HELLAS SA was founded in 1968 by the BERTZELETOS conglomerate, in alliance with the Danish company Palsgaard Industri A/S.
Both companies share a significant wealth of experience in the business of confectionary and baking, dating back to the beginning of the century.
Our prime aim was to produce high technological standard confectionary and bakery materials for FABRIKEN CREDIN V/SCHOU FONDET here in Greece, with the contribution and under the technical supervision of the latter.

FABRIKEN CREDIN V/SCHOU FONDET was founded in 1918 by the food chemist E. Schou. He invented the emulsifier and the technique to make margarine out of water, milk and vegetable oils, hence setting the foundations of the margarine production industry, worldwide.

Nowadays, CREDIN HELLAS produces over 900 branded products at its modern production plant, all very popular among the professionals in the sector. And if to all those products, we also add those of all the reputable companies CREDIN HELLAS represents, then the number of the marketed products reaches approximately 2,400, thereby providing clients with a unique portfolio of choices and solutions.

A significant part of our production is dedicated to tailor made industrial products developed according to our clients’ needs and under our in-house technical department’s supervision.

For over 30 years the company has been involved in the field of exports.
Throughout production, all our products are tested in our state of the art quality control laboratories, from raw materials to the end product.

As of 2001, CREDIN HELLAS has held the ISO 9001: 2000 HACCP standardization certificate (international standards for quality and hygiene) while it is monitored by external surveyors for the implementation of security and quality international standards. Recently the company has also been awarded with the internationally recognized ISO 22000:2005 certificate.
